With the aim of lifting the taboo surrounding menstruation, we’re working hard to raise awareness among young girls of menstrual abnormalities and the importance of this natural process. Recently, we organized an awareness-raising session at Lycée MOLENDE, in collaboration with the finalists. We are making significant progress, as we are now tackling a subject that was once considered delicate in our societies, while fully recognizing the reality of women.
This initiative is not just about education, but also about creating an environment where young girls feel safe to voice their concerns. By facilitating open discussions about menstrual health, we hope to encourage conversations between students, their parents and teachers. This can help reduce the stigma associated with menstruation and promote a culture of support and understanding. By addressing these topics, we aspire to build a more informed and empathetic community, where every young girl feels valued and respected.
Our commitment to educating young girls about menstrual abnormalities and the importance of menstruation is essential to fostering a better understanding of women’s health. By breaking down taboos and encouraging open discussion, we hope not only to improve the well-being of young girls, but also to contribute to lasting societal change. By joining forces, we can build a future where every woman feels supported and respected in her menstrual reality.
